SoftCote 80 - Super clear adhesive cover

SoftCote is The Book Cover Co's newest addition to our family of quality adhesive book covering films.

Using a water based adhesive and softer formulation of plastic, SoftCote conforms to a book superbly, giving an excellent result with embossed covers, and the best edge seal we've ever seen.

Edge lift is a common issue with adhesive covering and is caused by the springy nature of plastic which wants to lift up over time.  SoftCote, being more pliable, conforms very well to edges with reduced edge lift.

The clarity increases over time with the 'silvering' of tiny air bubbles almost completely disappearing.  This is even faster in warm conditions.

Heat exposure testing of a covered book (very scientific - we've left some books in direct sun in a hot car over a blazing hot summer) shows no wrinkling or bubbling issues with heat exposure, in fact the books looked even better!
