SoftCote is made from a soft, pliable PVC film that conforms closely to the shape and surface of the book. It is particularly effective around edges, corners, embossed lettering and textured covers.
Because the film is less springy than a firmer covering, it has very little tendency to pull away from edges once correctly applied. This helps create a smooth, close-fitting finish with excellent edge adhesion.
